IMMANUEL HOUSE
A MINISTRY OF LOUDON COUNTY BAPTIST ASSOCIATION
"Whoever welcomes this child in my name, welcomes Me."
Mark 9:37
When DCS has a child that has been removed from their home due to neglect and abuse they are taken to the DCS office until a foster placement is found. Immanuel House is a safe home that DCS can bring children to rest, play, watch movies or just hang out as they await placement.
Immanuel House offers a calm, uplifting space to help reduce the amount of stress and trauma that children have experienced. As a child comes into custody often they come with nothing or very little essentials that they need.
Every child that comes to the Immanuel House receives a new outfit, shoes, blanket and a backpack filled with necessary toiletries like toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, deodorant, etc. Thanks to donations we are able to provide the children with the items they need to take with them to their placement.
The Immanuel House also keeps a fully stocked kitchen of snacks and quick meals for children to eat during their stay.
